Effect of the Project
As a result of observing the groundwater level, effects of completed control works have been confirmed, such as lowered minimum ground water levels, lowered maximum water levels after rainfall, and accelerated speeds of lowering water levels (see the chart below) in the landslide-prone blocks. It was confirmed that the water level lowered by up to 10 meters or more in the Okubo block.

Confirmation of the Slip Surface
A slip surface was confirmed during a strata survey conducted for excavation of drainage wells.
