Project Effectiveness

The effectiveness of these projects are confirmed with data from observing groundwater level in the landslide blocks such as “decreases in the minimum groundwater level,” “decreases in the maximum water level after rainfalls,” and “improvement in the rate of decreases in water level” (see graph below) after the control works were carried out. At the Okubo block, it has been confirmed that groundwater level drops up to 10m, or more.
